Do you believe in soul mates? That there is one special person out there for you? This has always been a tricky subject for me. While I do believe there is a special someone out there for you, I also believe it depends on where you are in life, or what road you take. If you went to school and followed your dream career, would you still have met that same soul mate if your life went a little differently? Is your soul mate contingent on where you are in life? Is there a different soul mate for each option of road you choose? If you are a faith believer you might agree that they are all one in the same. God knew what route you would take before you took it. However we do sometimes make our own decisions and not follow what God has for us. God can send us thousands of signs but we will go out of our way across the world when our soul mate has been right in our face the whole time. So to make sure you get your true soul mate or better put, the person God has for you, pray about it. Ask God to reveal him/her to you when the time is right. There is someone out there for everyone, and for those who are single and wondering where is your Mr/Mrs Right? Their out there, your steps are ordered and preparing you to meet him/her, so stay in prayer to make sure you follow the correct steps that could lead you right to their front door!

Ever sit and wonder why you didn't get that job, that car, that man? Nothing is by coincidence if you are a faith believer. While we know God doesn't make everything happen, we do have to take responsibility for our own actions, He still allows things. And it is all for a reason. Many times that job, that car, that man are blocking us from our blessings. Something more, something far more greater, or sometimes just a lesson that is to be learned. Maybe we aren't old enough, mature enough or simply, not where we are suppose to be in our lives. We might not be able to handle what comes with that job, car, or man. Or also simply put, just for God's glory. Would you thank Him and praise Him like you should if He blessed you with that job, car or man? Aren't you more responsible, grateful and thankful today than you were a few years ago? Wouldn't you say you are more blessed now than you were a few years ago? Of course you are. And not by wordly things but just by being alive one more day. God knew you were more capable of handling the things you have now oppose to a few years ago. We are where we are suppose to be for a reason. Even the people that are in our lives are for a reason. And like I always say, IF YOU WALK AWAY FEELING YOU'VE LEARNED ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, KNOW THAT YOU'VE TAUGHT SOMEONE SOMETHING! Not all things are for your benefit. Sometimes it is just for someone else.

The good Life!!

My beautiful city! It doesn't get any better than this. This is Buckingham Fountain. This fountain was in the scene of one of my favorite moves. Love Jones!!

Can you imgine this at night. The place where lovers go on a stroll. Or even to meet that romantic someone. Red and gold is only the beginning of the colors this fountain sprays!!

The Sky Line of Lake Michigan is beautiful. Fire works every satuday. And if you happen to be in your yatch (like R. Kelly's video Step in Tje Name of Love) the site is amazing. Check out the sky line below. **************************************************

But this is the main reason life is oh sooo good!!!!

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word addiction? Most think of substance abuse (drugs, alcohol) But there are more addicts in society than we know. You and I could very well be an addict!!
Some of us have addictive personalities/behaviors and don't even know it.
Do you find yourself needing to talk with that special someone everyday, and if not you don't sleep well? Do you need that cup of coffee to get your day on the right track? Do you have to wear make-up just to go to the store?
One similarity that these behaviors have that is like substance abuse is withdrawal!! Your day not going well because you didn't have your coffee is an addictive behavior. Not sleeping because you haven't heard from the special someone today sounds like Doesn't it? Think about it. When a substance abuser doesn't get his fix sometimes he is left feeling sick and sometime volatile..that's called withdrawal. Do they differ? Are you addicted to anything or would like to share your thoughts.
